The Chosen Season 4
We are again offering this study in two different ways in hopes all of our Grace women will be able to partake!
**Tuesdays 9/24 to 11/19, 6:30pm on Zoom
**Wednesdays 9/25 to 11/20, 9:30am at Grace
God’s Goodness for the Chosen is a Bible study that follows each episode of season 4 of The Chosen.
We see it over and over again in the Bible: God brings good things out of bad things for the sake of His people and for His glory. But truth be told, when we personally experience suffering, we have a difficult time actually believing it. Yet, life is challenging even for the followers of Jesus, and hardship in the twenty-first century is no exception. God’s Goodness for the Chosen takes readers through eight lessons which reveal how God uses suffering to bring about good things in the lives of those He loves.

1 & 2 Kings holds a prominent place in the Old Testament and all scripture. Its story is closely related to earlier events from Joshua, Judges and 1 & 2 Samuel. The vast story from Genesis to 1 & 2 Kings is sweeping and many-sided yet unified in theme. Kings is more than political and social history; it records Israel’s spiritual response to God who granted her great privileges. These experiences, especially her kings, prophets and priests largely point to the need for the coming of the One who would combine all these roles-- manifested, of course, in Jesus Christ. -from pp. 11-13 of 1 & 2 Kings study book.
To help make the role of prophets more alive, emphasis will be put on Elijah, Elisha and Isaiah in this nine-week study.
