Find updates for children
Our goal is to partner together with families to teach children to bear Kingdom fruit. That starts with communication.
PLEASE JOIN US FOR AN IMPORTANT PARENT MEETING AT GRACE SATURDAY MARCH 17 AT 9:00 AM. CHILDCARE WILL BE PROVIDED.
We will continue our Dig In: The Bible in One Year curriculum during Children's Worship both services.
*3rd-5th graders: please bring your Bibles! We are going to be rewarding children with stickers for bringing their Bibles. We want their Bibles to be valuable tools for them at church and home. We will be having them highlight the verses they learn in class, which we hope will be a great way to get them reviewing and reading at home! Grace gives every child a Bible at the beginning of the third grade. We have additional Bibles that we are happy to give 3rd-5th graders who have not received one.
MARCH 25--PALM SUNDAY APRIL 1--EASTER
Space For Grace
We have a special team in place for Space for Grace that is looking for ways to include the children in this special time at Grace. To begin the process, we will be asking the children to pray for Grace. They will bring home a prayer calendar as a reminder to pray daily. On March 18, we will begin taking about what Space for Grace means for them.
A program for all 3rd-5th graders that meets every 1st and 3rd Sunday (except for holiday weekends) from 4:00-6:00.
3/4--4:00-6:00 at Grace Kylie Hollonbeck will be sharing her African mission trip adventures.
3/18--4:00-6:00 at Grace surprise Guest Speaker
Don't forget we are still collecting children's offering at the check-in table for Gospel Rescue Missions. Our children's offering is a way to teach children about generous giving. March 25-April 29, the offering will be Change for Change for Space for Grace.
Grace is committed to worshiping as a complete body every fifth Sunday throughout the year. In 2018, these Sundays will be April 29th, July 29th, September 30th, and December 30th. Children Kindergarten-5th grade will join the body in the sanctuary for the opening set of worship. Kinder through second grade will be released and escorted after the opening set to Children's Worship for age and developmentally appropriate activities. All children are welcome in Children's Worship.
Families are encouraged to choose what fits best for their individual worship needs. We believe that there is great benefit for 3rd-5th graders to begin experiencing worship in its entirety a few times a year. As we worship together, it is our hope that children are developing a positive and lasting relationship with the church as a complete body. Nursery, preschool, and special needs care is available from the beginning of service.
