Generosity & Giving

Loving our neighbors as ourselves

Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God. Hebrews 13:16 ESV

Helping each other matters. Jesus said so. In fact, throughout both the Old and New Testaments, hospitality and generosity are some of the most prominent themes. God was ultimately generous when He gave His own Son to save the world.

If you are new to Grace Community Church or new to our website, we exist for God, for people, for our city and for the world. We believe that God has placed us here for a purpose; that He has a plan in mind that includes us being able to practically show His love to those around us.

We all know about people who are suffering in this time of home sheltering, self-quarantines and social distancing. Thousands of people have recently lost jobs or experienced cutbacks that hurt deeply. Fear and anxiety are affecting nearly everyone.

This is a time when your generosity can directly help meet the needs of those hurting...through

  1. the Grace General Fund keeps our doors open and funnels thousands of dollars a year to ministries surrounding Grace and the world,
  2. the Grace Benevolence Fund, which includes the Crisis Relief Fund, that directly reaches out to individuals and families in need, and
  3. the Space for Grace campaign that has enabled us to build the new classroom building to expand our youth ministry as well as host outreach meetings for adults.

God has blessed us with His gifts. May we be grateful for His generosity and continue to share those gifts with Grace and our community. Please pray for the families affected by this virus as well as our outreach efforts...and for our hearts to be made generously tender.
