What’s G-City? It’s a play on words…it’s Grace turned outward to the City…it’s our Genero-City…it’s our Generations working together to make a difference.
G-City is really an on ramp to help us make lasting relationships with people in our communities who are hurting or in need. It's part of our Outreach Mission at Grace, where we want to help people be loved, belong, and believe. For more check out the Outreach page.
What to Expect
Coronavirus isn't going to stop us from helping out!
Our next G-City is coming up at the end of August (8/30). We have a few projects that you can participate in that still respect social distancing and sheltering guidelines. Be thinking about which of these you'd like to do (you can do multiple projects!)!
For all projects, we'll be using Room 2 (the Welcome Room) at Grace as our "station." You can drop items off there Monday through Thursday from 9am-5pm. That's also where you can pick up card packets for our card-making project.
Please drop off all donations and cards the week before and the week after 8/30 (so...by Labor Day)!
Here are the projects:

Drop Off Non-Perishable Food Items for ICS

Write Personal Notes to Patients at Mountain View Care Center
You can pick up a packet of cards at the church, take them home to sign and decorate, then return them before 8/30.
Donate Meal Gift Cards for the Workers at Mountain View Care Center
Drop off purchased gift cards for meals at the church in any denomination - we'll gift these to the Mountain View staff to enjoy a meal on us as a thank you for their hard work in caring for patients there.
