Freedom Prayer

Prayer for persistent emotional and spiritual issues

Freedom Prayer

Seeking a closer relationship to, encouragement with, and hearing from Holy Spirit for any reason is offered to anyone. This prayer time is powerful, with 3 people praying and listening with you, great blessings come.

The Freedom Prayer Ministry at Grace is a ministry that offers focused prayer time with trained prayer team members. The main goal is to allow the Holy Spirit to identify and address things hindering a deeper personal relationship with God.

While God can meet us anytime in any way, he’s made a promise that when two or more of us gather in his name, that he blesses us with His presence. (Matthew 18:20)

There is a small coordinating team that handles requests in confidentiality and will work with you to set up a time and best team structure. You can use the form below to send an email to the prayer team ([email protected]) to express your interest and someone from the team will contact you. Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this ministry for?

This ministry is for anyone! People come for prayer for a wide variety of reasons: help with past hurts or on-going problems, wanting freedom from a habitual struggle, or simply a desire for "more of God"-- everyone can benefit from praying with others, no matter your association with Grace Church (member or friend).

What does the prayer time look like?

You will meet with 2-3 prayer team members, of the same gender if preferred. A typical session lasts from one to two hours. One team member will primarily lead the prayer time with help from the other two members. Prayer will center on trusting the Holy Spirit to lead and then receiving God’s truth and His loving help.  We will all be active participants in the prayer time as we seek your freedom together.

Is this confidential?

Everything that is said and done is held in the strictest of confidentiality. However, if there appears to be personal danger to you or to someone else that is discussed during the prayer time, the prayer team may be obliged to share information for your safety or the safety of others.

Freedom is God’s desire for us

Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, "If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." (John 8:31-36)

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. (2 Corinthians 3:17)

For freedom Christ has set us free. (Galatians 5:1)
